LIFE REDESIGNED
Design a life you don’t need to escape from, before another year becomes “maybe next year.”
Life Redesigned is the 12-week private programme for people who’ve done everything right and still find themselves thinking, “Surely this can’t be it.”
Build a next chapter with work you want to give your time to, plenty of that time left for an actual life outside it, and plans you can finally stop calling “someday.”
On paper, everything is exactly as it should be.
You’ve worked hard for what you have. You’ve built the kind of life your younger self probably assumed would feel like having “made it.” And, most days, it does…
Still, a few things have started to feel a little too normal:
-
Someone asks how you are, and you tell them how work’s going.
-
You finally take that holiday, start to feel like yourself again around day five, and it’s already time to fly home.
-
You land the promotion, pay rise or big project, feel surprisingly little (and slightly guilty about that), then get on with your day.
-
You look at your boss’s job (the obvious next step) and quietly hope nobody ever offers it to you.
-
You have a small collection of saved property listings in remote places you’d struggle to find on a map… just in case.
Sometimes you wonder if something needs to change.
But just as quickly, you tell yourself:
“It’s not that bad. I should be grateful.”
Of course you can keep going. You’ve become exceptionally good at that.
But that little voice just won’t go away. And when your life looks this good to everyone else, questioning whether you still want it can feel surprisingly lonely.
Because who do you actually tell?
“I’m not sure I want to do this any more.
I kinda just want to quit and do pottery.”
That’s a difficult thing to say about a life you worked hard for, that other people admire, and that you know you’re lucky to have.
It can feel a bit selfish or ungrateful. Ridiculous, even.
So you keep it to yourself, keep going, do the maths on that four-day week (purely hypothetically), then put the question off for another few months.
But hang on.
Who exactly gets to decide what you’re allowed to want?
Wanting something different doesn’t automatically have to mean new-job-new-country-new-everything.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you can really see yourself doing another 20 years of this and landed on:
“technically, yes…”
Shall we start there?
That’s exactly what
Life Redesigned is for.
Where subconscious change work
meets practical life design coaching
Twelve weeks to shift what’s been keeping you stuck, get clear on what you want your next chapter to look like, and start turning that into your actual life.
From “Is this really it?”
To a whole new set of possibilities.
From “I’d have to blow everything up”
To change that fits your life.
From “I wonder what else is possible”
To actually finding out.
“Kata helped me work through an issue in a month I’d been trying to figure out for a year.”
Krista M., Creative ProducerYou can be remarkably self-aware and still find yourself making the same decisions.
Maybe you’ve journaled about it, talked it through in therapy or coaching, read a book, or made a pros-and-cons list or two. You might even know exactly where some of your patterns come from.
Yet somehow you’re still saying yes to things you don’t want, feeling guilty when you slow down or putting off the decision you’ve been thinking about for months.
Sometimes, the very qualities that helped you build this life can also make it so hard to change. Likely because you became very good at living by rules about success, approval and responsibility that you never consciously chose.
But the version of you that got you here doesn’t need to keep making every decision about where you go next.
The key is to work out which of those old rules still fit the life you actually want, rewrite the ones that don't, and build your next chapter around what does.
Most coaching starts with where you want to go.
Therapy tends to focus on what got you here.
Life Redesigned does both: it changes the patterns shaping your choices, then helps you work out what you want to choose instead.
“Working with Kata has been transformative in ways I didn’t expect. I was able to release deep-rooted patterns I’d carried for years.”
Robin P., Senior ScientistThe Life Redesigned Method
Rewrite the rules. Design what comes next. Start living it.
Life Redesigned works from the inside out.
-
The Rewrite
Change the rules
Using RTT® hypnotherapy, we uncover the subconscious Core Imprints behind the patterns keeping you stuck, then rewrite them at the root.
This is the shift that underpins everything that follows, and makes the changes easier to start and more likely to stick.
-
The Design
Choose what comes next
With the old rules no longer calling the shots, we work out what you actually want.
We approach the next chapter more like a creative project than a life crisis: sketch possibilities, try things, collect evidence and refine concepts until it starts to take shape.
-
The Build
Make it real
You finish the programme with your 90-Day Next Chapter Plan, so you know exactly what comes next. From there, you start taking action and making those choices in your real life.
So you don’t just leave with a beautiful explanation of why you’ve been stuck. You start doing something about it.
Don’t be surprised if you become mildly unrecognisable to yourself.
In a good way.
A few months from now, this might all feel normal:
-
You go on holiday and are, in fact, on holiday.
You enjoy the pool, read a book, maybe even take a nap, and anything marked “not urgent” gets treated that way.
-
You show up at dinner with your friends.
Whatever came up at five o’clock can wait until Monday, and your evenings start to feel like yours again.
-
Sleep comes more easily.
The wired-but-tired feeling fades, 3am goes back to being a time you rarely see, and more days start with you waking up feeling rested.
-
The people you love get you back.
Your partner no longer has to compete with your phone for your attention, or make do with whatever’s left of you at the end of the day.
-
Your life gets bigger than your job again.
You get back to the things you used to love, pick up a few new ones, and have things coming up that you genuinely can’t wait for. When someone asks what you’ve been up to, work is only part of the answer.
-
You trust yourself to make decisions that feel right for you.
You know the difference between “this scares me a bit” and “I don’t want to do this”, and you can say no without spending the evening rewriting the conversation in your head.
And some things you might not even realise you’ve been missing also start to come back…
Curiosity
Something interests you and you think “ooh, fun”, then you go explore it without needing to know where it’ll lead.
Spontaneity
You book a weekend away, sign up for the course you’ve been eyeing up, or take the afternoon off without overthinking it.
Intuition
You spend a lot less time debating should I stay, should I leave, am I being ungrateful, maybe after summer. You just know.
“I now have more money, time, and happiness than ever, and I sometimes can’t believe where I am at this point. This wouldn’t have been possible without Kata’s coaching.”
Amy Maxwell, Founder | Oracley
As a strategist, I made a living out of understanding problems and building sensible solutions, and I could rationalise almost anything. So, surely I could figure this one out?! Only I couldn't.
Because as it turns out, I was trying to solve the wrong problem: before I could work out what I actually wanted, I had to untangle and rewrite the rules I'd inherited about what success was supposed to look like, what a good life ought to be and what I was allowed to want.
That realisation led me to subconscious belief work, and eventually to retraining as an RTT® therapist and coach.
It's surprisingly difficult to know what you want when you've spent years getting very good at wanting the things that make sense.
Strategy taught me
how to spot a pattern.
RTT taught me how
to change one.
Now I bring the two together to help ambitious professionals change what’s keeping them stuck and design a life they’re genuinely excited to wake up to.
So if part of you is thinking “I have a perfectly good life” while another part keeps asking “Surely this can’t be it?” Maybe it’s time to stop talking yourself out of the second part.
Talk it through with me.
The Clarity Call is free and no-obligation. It's a proper conversation about what's going on for you, whether Life Redesigned is the right fit, and space for any questions you have before you decide.MEET YOUR COACH
I’m Kata.
Former Strategy Director, RTT hypnotherapist,
and ex-owner of a good-on-paper life.
I know what it's like to become incredibly good
at a life you're no longer sure you want.
I spent more than a decade helping global brands understand why people make the decisions they do. It took me far too long to realise I'd never asked the same question about myself.
I’d built the title-salary-beautiful-apartment-Aesop-hand-soap version of success. I was also exhausted, increasingly disconnected from my life and privately wondering why getting everything I’d worked for felt so incredibly flat.
The strangest part was the guilt that came with that feeling, and not quite knowing who to tell, or how. It's not exactly something you casually bring up at dinner with a friend who’s going through a “real problem”.
On a Tuesday afternoon in 2020, I found myself on my living room floor between Zoom calls, breathing through a panic attack, googling one-way flights to "anywhere". Then I turned the camera back on and joined the next meeting as though nothing had happened.
That experience made it hard to carry on pretending that “keep going” was a particularly sound or compelling) life plan. I had to figure out what I actually wanted.
Life Redesigned is probably for you if…
-
You know something needs to change, but aren’t yet sure what that change should look like.
-
You’ve talked yourself through this problem more times than you can count, and somehow keep ending up in the same place.
-
You’re very good at knowing what you should do, and surprisingly bad at knowing what you actually want.
-
You want support finding your own answer, rather than someone handing you theirs.
-
However, if what you mainly want is a productivity reset, someone to tell you which career to choose, or support through an acute mental-health crisis, this isn’t the right programme for you.

CLIENT CASE STUDYFrom “maybe I could be a dog walker” to building an award-winning global wellness business
Quite a lot can happen once “what else could I possibly do?” becomes “what would I actually like to do?”
When Amy and I started working together, she'd spent a decade as a senior marketing strategist. She was in a job that was draining the life out of her, and she couldn't picture anything beyond it. At one point, half joking and half serious, she suggested she might become a dog walker.
Underneath that were Core Imprints, limiting beliefs she’d carried for years around work, money, and worth, shaping what she believed was possible for her. Despite years of experience, she didn't even think she could find freelance work.
Once we shifted those beliefs, she finally took the leap. Before long, she was not only earning more freelancing than she had in her job, she also had more time and energy left for the things she loved outside it.
That gave her the space she needed to build something of her own: Oracley, a self-healing studio in Amsterdam, that's since been named Best Wellness Business in the Netherlands, featured in Vogue, and is currently raising capital to expand to New York.
Amy has also run sold-out retreats, runs corporate wellness workshops, hosts a podcast, and speaks on international stages.
And hey, if she still wants to walk dogs on the side, I’m not stopping her. But at least now it gets to be because spending an afternoon with dogs sounds lovely, rather than “maybe that’s all I could do.”

My promise?
I’ll meet you fully.
With curiosity, instead of judgement. Compassion when you need it. Honest questions when you don’t. And a genuine commitment to helping you build a life that feels like yours.
All I ask is that you bring the same curiosity to yourself, and we'll work out the rest together. If you’re ready to take the next step, let’s talk.
What people often ask me
01 I’ve already done therapy or coaching. How is this different?
Therapy can give you an incredibly useful understanding of yourself: where a pattern came from, what triggers it, how it shows up. The frustrating bit is when you can explain the whole thing beautifully and still find yourself doing it.
That’s why Life Redesigned works on two additional levels: The Rewrite uses subconscious work to address beliefs that understanding alone hasn’t necessarily changed, and The Design turns what shifts there into decisions and experiments in your life.
So we’re not starting again. We’re working with what you already know and going somewhere different with it.
02 My life really isn’t that bad. Am I making too much of this?
There is, thankfully, no minimum level of misery required. Your life doesn’t need to be falling apart for you to question whether you still want it in its current form. And you don’t have to wait until something becomes unbearable to change it.
In fact, that’s often what makes this so easy to put off. You could keep going like this. The more useful question is whether you want to spend another ten or twenty years doing so.
And if the same thought keeps coming back, even after you’ve given yourself plenty of sensible reasons to dismiss it, it’s probably worth paying attention to. You don’t need to wait for “I don’t want this any more” to become “I genuinely can’t do this any more.”
If you’re unsure whether Life Redesigned is the right support, that’s what the Clarity Call is for. Bring me what’s going on and we’ll figure that part out together.
03 Shouldn’t I be able to work this out on my own?
You might. Most people I work with are exceptionally good at solving problems, which is largely how they got here.
The difficulty is that we’re all considerably less objective when the problem contains our identity, our income, our relationships, other people’s expectations and the last twenty years of our own life.
My role is to spot what’s harder to see from inside your own life, ask the questions you keep circling, and help you turn all that thinking into an actual way forward.
04 What actually happens during RTT?
Less than you’re imagining, and rather more than you’d expect. RTT stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy. It uses hypnosis – a deeply focused, relaxed state, think completely absorbed in a film rather than stage hypnotist making you forget your own name – to get underneath the patterns showing up in your life now.
Beforehand, we spend 90 minutes getting clear on what we’re working with and what you want to change. During RTT, we use regression to find where some of those old rules were formed and start rewriting them. Not digging through your childhood for the sake of it; we know what we’re looking for.
Afterwards, we have a separate integration coaching session to consciously process what came up. Plus, you’ll have a personalised hypnosis recording, made for you after your session. You’ll listen to it every day for at least 21 days, which is what helps the changes settle in.
And if you’re sceptical, that’s fine. So was I, right up until I booked a three-hour hypnosis session myself. No mystical visions arrived. What did arrive was the realisation that I’d spent years solving the wrong problem entirely… which turned out to be rather more useful.
05 Subconscious change work sounds serious. Is this going to be heavy going?
We’ll go deep, yes. It doesn’t have to be terribly serious, though. Some of this work is emotional. Some of it is fascinating. Some of it is surprisingly funny once you see what your brain has been doing all these years.
06 I barely have time for my current life. How much time am I signing up for here?
This is a 12-week one-to-one programme, so yes, it asks for some of your time.
The first phase includes a 90-minute Deep Dive intake, a 120-minute RTT hypnotherapy session, a 60-minute integration coaching session and your personalised hypnosis recording, which you’ll listen to daily for at least 21 days. Week four deliberately has no coaching session so there is room for that work to settle.
From week five, we meet for eight 60-minute life design coaching sessions, usually weekly. There will also be reflection or practical experiments between sessions, depending on what we’re working on.
I’m deliberately not giving you forty-seven modules to catch up on at 1.5x speed on Sunday night. The supporting resources, including a selection of meditations, hypnosis audios, grounding practices, breathing exercises and prompts, are there when they’re useful, and you have access to me between sessions so something that comes up on Wednesday can be dealt with on Wednesday.
The time you put into this should give you time back by ending some of the circling, overthinking and carrying that currently takes up far more of it than appears in your calendar.
07 What if my situation is very specific?
That’s exactly why this is one to one. Nothing here is a framework you’re squeezed into. There isn’t a predetermined answer I need to steer you towards, and I’m not going to hand you the same five-step career-change worksheet I gave the person before you. We use a structure, but the work follows your life, your decisions and what is coming up as we go.
And because I spent more than a decade working at Strategy Director level myself, you don’t need to translate the peculiar combination of ambition, politics, client pressure, responsibility and surely the answer cannot be another bloody resilience workshop before we can get started.
08 How do I know whether this is something to work through with you, or whether I need a different kind of support?
Life Redesigned is designed for people who are functioning in their lives but can see that something needs to change: the same patterns keep repeating, work has started costing too much, they’re circling a decision, or the successful life they built no longer feels like one they consciously want to keep choosing. We can work with exhaustion, self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, over-responsibility, career questioning and the deeper beliefs underneath them.
There are also situations where I won’t be the right person. Life Redesigned isn’t acute mental-health treatment, and RTT and coaching aren’t replacements for medical or psychiatric care. If what you’re dealing with needs clinical support beyond my scope, I’ll tell you that.
09 What if I don’t want to quit my job or make some enormous life-changing decision?
Then don’t. There is no secret “quit corporate and move to Bali” agenda hiding in week eight. (So please don’t hand in your notice on my account before our first session.)
You might choose a different career, a business or a move abroad. You might keep the career and change how much of your life it gets. You might change roles, work fewer days, start something alongside it or eventually decide you do want something completely different.
There’s no predetermined exit here, and no prize for making the most dramatic change. If you love your work and want to keep doing it, that’s a perfectly good outcome. We’re interested in what really fits your life. So the aim is for the choices inside your life to feel much more like your own, however it looks from the outside.
10 What if I get to the end of twelve weeks and something still hasn’t shifted?
I’m not going to promise that your whole life will look dramatically different twelve weeks from now, or that you’ll have the next ten years neatly figured out. And if anyone does promise you that silver bullet, by the way, I’d be a bit suspicious.
What I can promise is that we won’t confuse understanding the problem with solving it. I’m not interested in you leaving with a beautifully articulated explanation of why you’ve been stuck and a life that’s essentially unchanged, so the whole programme is built around turning insight into decisions and experiments in your actual life. Thirty days after we finish, we come back together to look at what stuck, what moved and what needs another look.
Picture an ordinary Tuesday a few months from now.
You finish work with enough of yourself left for the evening and spend it drawing, gardening, cooking or doing something you’re cheerfully mediocre at.
Work still matters, but it doesn’t take quite so much of you any more. Maybe that means you’re doing work you want to be doing. Maybe it simply takes up less of your week. Either way, there’s room for the plans and projects that used to get put off until someday, or dismissed as unrealistic.
You notice you’re spending considerably less time thinking about the life you could be living and feeling much more present in the one you have.
Ready to find out what
your version of that looks like?
